Role:Machine Setter / Line Setter (Setting up packaging machines or production lines and operating them) (Must be mechanically minded, have excellent troubleshooting ability and experienced with setting up bottle, sachet, jar or tube packaging lines)Pharmaceutical ManufacturingLocation:South Eastern SuburbsShift:2 x Day Shift2 x Afternoon Shift1 x NightEmployment Conditions:Permanent - Full TimeExperienceMust have experience with setting up Bottle, Sachet and Tube packaging lines from the food or pharma industryDay to Day responsibilities:Ensure that the line runs efficiently and productively once set up; coordinate tasks so that the line runs as continuously as possibleComplete changeover of production equipment such as Filling, Capping & Labelling with accuracy and in a set time periodTroubleshoot and adjust equipment during the run to achieve optimum output and minimal downtime minimise wastageSet up filling and packing equipment and strip down,



wash and reassemble filling equipment to produce a quality product as efficiently as possibleMonitor the quality of product throughout the filling run and make appropriate adjustments to maintain quality and complianceBe able to operate and maintain equipment safely and change parts in a clean and orderly mannerEnsure that all work is done according to the highest standards of Positive Manufacturing Practice (GMP)Carry out required tasks in ERP and other systems; complete all relevant documentation and reportingParticipate in required training, including SOPs, GMP, OH&S; and 5SWritten and oral communication skillsHigh mechanical aptitudeTroubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAdvanced GMP and a sound understanding of OHSProactive, self-motivated and able to work unsupervisedProven machine operating experience in either food manufacturing or pharmaceuticalExperience in a similar role is a must.
Forklift licence advantageous.Must have own car and licence .
