Stellar Recruitment is looking for a driven, personable and commercially minded Business Development Manager to join our Brisbane office. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced tradesperson who wants to step off the tools and build a long-term career in recruitment and business development.

You don’t need to come from a corporate sales background. If you understand the trades, enjoy building relationships and have the confidence to pick up the phone and start a conversation, we can help you develop the rest.

What You’ll Be Doing Instead of quoting jobs or managing the daily grind on site, you’ll be:
Building relationships with businesses across the trades, construction and industrial sectors
Speaking with supervisors, project managers and business owners about their workforce needs
Identifying new projects, clients and recruitment prospects
Attending client meetings, site visits and industry events
Introducing Stellar’s recruitment services to prospective clients
Working closely with our recruiters to connect businesses with outstanding people




Developing proposals and negotiating commercial agreements
Managing your own pipeline and contributing to the growth of our Brisbane business
