Job DescriptionYou will support the Water Team by coordinating site access, permits and safety requirements, ensuring water operations and maintenance activities are delivered safely and efficiently.Playing a key part in major planned and reactive maintenance, you'll help minimise downtime, reduce costs and ensure the ongoing performance of critical water assets.Working within Bulk Water Treatment, you'll focus on flushing reticulation mains, monitoring water quality through chlorine residual testing, and responding to water quality issues across the network.This role is required to participate in the on-call roster (every 6 weeks, minimum) and overtime arrangements as required, to resolve out of hours operational issues or emergency works including disaster management.About the EmployerTownsville City Council is the largest local government authority in Northern Australia.
