Fishing Boat Building Fitout and Assembly
Working in the fit out and assembly department at Bar Crusher Boats you will be supporting the teamfitting outaluminium trailerboats.
Receiving the boats from the paintdepartment, the fit out team are responsible forwiring, plumbing, glazing and fitting of all accessories.
To work in this area you will have experience using hand tools.
You may haveexperiencefitting automotive accessories,boat fit out orcaravan fit outorin another setting that has required goodhand fitting andassembly skills.
You will be aperson who enjoys a variety of tasks and has an eye for detail.
The successful candidate will be trained as they learn the various tasks.
Some typical tasks you may be carrying outin the fit-out department:
Fitting wiring looms, lighting and electrical accessories in boats
Fitting plumbing, hoses, pumps
Fitting windows, glass and hatches
Making up subassemblies and parts
Fitting seating and upholstery
Fitting accessories and options (Bolting, screwing, riveting, gluing)
Applying graphics
You will be physically fitand able to stepin and out of boats.
Have a "can do" attitude.
Possess an eye for detail.
You will be reliable.
Current forklift licence (desirable).
You will beable to communicate well with others; and
Your work history will demonstrate agood work ethicin your previous roles.
