Are you a hands-on Health & Safety qualified who thrives on being out on the floor rather than behind a desk? A well-established manufacturing business is looking for a Health and Safety Manager to lead safety across their site.

About the Role

You'll take ownership of health, safety and compliance across the site, partnering closely with operations leaders and working independently as the go-to safety expert. This is a business that genuinely values a proactive, visible safety culture, you'll be expected to spend real time on the floor, building relationships with operators and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
Chair and support the OHS Committee
Manage Workcover claims and injury/incident investigations
Conduct risk assessments, including for a recent production line
Lead and coordinate site audits
Drive general health & wellbeing initiatives




Ensure ongoing compliance with relevant OHS legislation and standards
Deliver training across the site
Provide project support on broader safety initiatives

About You
A manufacturing background is essential
Tertiary qualification in Occupational Health & Safety, with relevant certification in risk management
Proactive, adaptable, and genuinely hands-on, someone who gets things done rather than just manages from a distance
Robust communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
Comfortable working autonomously in a stand-alone capacity
