You'll be hands‐on across HV substations, both brownfield and greenfield, as well as utility‐scale solar, wind, and BESS projects.You'll also get involved earlier in the lifecycle, including upfront engineering, detailed design development, and commissioning planning.If you like seeing a project through from concept to energisation, you'll feel right at home.You'll be working closely with internal engineers and project teams, as well as clients, TNSPs, OEMs and AEMO.Based in Melbourne, with site travel across Australia depending on the project.What You'll BringYou don't need to tick every box, but ideally:The essentials:Electrical Engineering degree or Advanced Diploma in Power SystemsAround 3+ years in substation and or renewable commissioningSolid understanding of power systems,



protection and controlVESI authorisations and local experienceThe hands‐on stuff:End‐to‐end commissioning experience on HV substations or renewablesBuilding commissioning plans, schedules, FAT and SAT reportsProtection testing such as distance, differential and CB management using Omicron or DoblePrimary plant testing including CBs, CTs, CVTs and transformersSCADA and control systems testingTesting authorities such as AusNet, Transgrid, ElectraNet or PowerlinkEngineers Australia membership or working towards itGood understanding of secondary and protection designsAnd importantly:You communicate well, both on‐site and offYou can work across different teams without frictionYou write reports that people actually understandWhy Grid-Link?
