ARMDALE & BEDFORDALEOur OSHC programs are seeking a reliable, enthusiastic, passionate educator to join our team as a casual educator who is available to start immediately.You will be working across our two Services which operate within Christian faith schools.You will need to be available to work between 6.30 & 8.30 am & *********pm Monday to Friday during school term and longer hours during school holidays.AVAILABLE POSITIONEducator - CasualABOUT THE ROLEYou will be required to actively supervise primary school aged children and support them in the daily activitiesEngage in a fun, safe, and compliant program that includes facilitating planned activities, participating in games with children and other play-based experiencesHelp to create and nurture a positive environment for learning and enriching play-based educational experiencesPrepare and serve healthy food optionsBuild meaningful relationships with children, families, and the school communityABOUT YOUCommitted to providing a child safe environmentReliablePassionate and committed to providing a fun and relaxed environment for school aged children.Understands the importance of active supervision and care of the childrenHave a professional and mature approach to the workplaceTake pride in maintaining a clean and safe environment.Committed to implementing and following NQF & MTOP frameworksAbility to work well within a team and be respectful to team membersHas a collaborative and flexible approach with an ongoing commitment to reflective practice.Good verbal and written communication skills.Contribute to the documentation of children's learning and developmentWHAT YOU NEED**Driver's license and car (public transport is not available).
**Australian permanent residency or citizenship is required for this position.Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificate or willing to obtain before commencementCurrent Child protection certificate or willing to obtain before commencementAbility to pass a National Police Check.Current Working with Children cardDESIRABLEPrior experience working with school-aged children is preferred.While we prefer candidates with a minimum of 6 months experience working with school-aged children, we are versatile and willing to consider applicants with less experience who demonstrate enthusiasm and potential for the role.HOURS OF WORKBSC ***********amASC ***********pmVAC various shifts between 6.30 am & 6.00pmSplit shift allowance paid.We have been approved for the 10% workers retention grant.WHAT WE OFFERSupport from a dedicated Educational Leader and OSHC Manager to help guide you in the role.
