Coffs Harbour & District Hospital is seeking Registered Nurses to join its Short Stay Unit at the Coffs Harbour Health Campus for a 12-week contract running from September through early December 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic acute care setting on the NSW mid-north coast. The role offers a competitive hourly rate of AUD$45.00 to AUD$60.00, with four positions available for nurses ready to commit to the full contract period and embrace rostered shift work.

AUD$45.00 to AUD$60.00 per hour, working rostered shifts in an acute care setting
Based at Coffs Harbour Health Campus, NSW, with access to clinical support and compliance training

Preferred Requirements
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse




Availability for the full 12-week contract period with flexibility to work rostered shifts
Proficiency with electronic medical records systems, or the ability to quickly learn current clinical software
Ability to meet all NSW Health compliance requirements before commencement
Sound clinical judgment and the capacity to work effectively in a short-stay acute care setting

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification with current AHPRA registration
Recent experience in an acute care or short-stay unit setting
Familiarity with NSW Health systems and protocols
