We build long-term partnerships with our customers and proudly represent brands that inspire creativity and quality.For us, it's more than hair.The RoleWe're looking for a Promotions Lead to lead the planning, execution and performance evaluation of promotional campaigns, trading initiatives and new product launches across Haircare Group.Reporting to the Buying & Category Manager, this role plays a critical part in driving category growth, sales performance and customer engagement through effective promotional planning and execution.
You will work closely with Buying, Sales, Marketing and Supply Planning teams to deliver commercially successful promotions that support business objectives across Australia and New Zealand.As the key link between multiple teams, you will ensure promotional activity is planned, communicated and executed effectively, while providing insights and recommendations that improve performance and profitability.Why This Role Stands OutLead high-impact promotional campaigns and key trading eventsInfluence category growth, sales performance and customer engagementPartner closely with Buying, Sales,
Marketing and Supply PlanningDrive new product launches and introductory offersUse data and insights to shape future promotional strategiesPlay a key role in commercial decision-making across the businessKey Responsibilities:Lead the planning and execution of promotional campaigns, deal books, evergreen offers, opening deals and key trading eventsManage the promotional calendar to ensure timely delivery and alignment with category prioritiesDevelop promotional programs that drive incremental sales, margin and customer engagementSupport the execution of category and trading strategiesEnsure promotional activity aligns with commercial objectives, brand positioning and customer needsSupport category sales and profitability targets through effective promotional planning and executionIdentify opportunities for supplier-funded activity, exclusive offers and value-added promotionsPartner with Sales teams to develop retailer and customer-specific promotional programsMonitor market trends, competitor activity and customer behaviour to identify opportunitiesAnalyse promotional performance, including sales, margin,
profitability and return on investmentPrepare post-campaign evaluations and provide recommendations for continuous improvementDevelop reporting and insights to support commercial decision-making and business planningCoordinate and support successful new product launches and introductory offersPartner with Supply Planning to ensure accurate forecasting and stock availability for promotional activity Communicate promotional plans, opportunities and performance across key stakeholdersDrive improvements in promotional planning, reporting and execution processesMaintain accurate promotional documentation, timelines and governance requirementsWhat You'll BringExperience in promotions, trade marketing, category support, buying support or a related commercial roleExperience within a wholesale, retail or distribution workplace (preferred)Strong commercial awareness and understanding of sales, margin and promotional performance driversDemonstrated experience coordinating promotional campaigns, product launches or trading programsStrong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate performance and identify opportunitiesIntermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel and ERP system capabilityStrong project management and organisational skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and deliver outcomes in a fast-paced environmentQualification in Business, Marketing, Commerce or a related discipline (preferred)What We Offer:Opportunity to play a key role in a respected Australian-owned businessCollaborative and values-driven cultureGenerous staff discounts on premium haircare productsExposure to cross-functional teams and commercial decision-makingPlease note: You must have full Australian work rights to apply.
