We are an International freight forwarding company with offices in all States of Australia and part of an international network of agents operating in a niche and rapidly growing market.We are looking for an Experienced Warehouse Manager for our Airfreight operation in our Melbourne Warehouse located in Tullamarine.Within the role you will be required to:Ensure all operations are conducted in accordance with relevant policies, procedures and legislative requirements;Ensure safety to staff, the community and the environment;Provide strategic direction and control for all operations in order to improve the efficiency of the depotDetermine & arrange for weekly & daily labour to ensure efficiencyEnsure that equipment is properly maintained & serviced and appropriate records are kept.Address and assist with all employee issues in a qualified manner including but not limited to employee performance management and disciplinary procedures.Supervise the Warehouse function, including people, process and task allocation to meet customer demandsLead by example to ensure skilled relationships are maintained internally and externallyEnsure processes for inbound/outbound shipments are efficient and produce a timely outcome for customersMaximize safety performance through leadership , creation and maintenance of a positive and safe environmentTo be considered for the Role you must meet the following criteria:Have a minimum of 3 Years Experience working in a Air Freight Warehouse.Driver's LicenseAdequate numerical skillsHardworking work ethicsBe able to prioritiseCan do Attitude and Flexible approachAbility to work in a team or individualWe offer competitive salary and conditions and all applications will be treated in the strictest confidence.
