We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic professional cleaner to join our well-established, family-owned business.
We specialise in commercial cleaning, industrial cleaning, car park and warehouse cleaning, construction and new build cleaning, machine power sweeping and scrubbing, and cool room cleaning.
This role is specifically for someone to join our commercial and industrial cleaning team, also taking part in construction cleans, builders cleans and vacate cleans.
Your Responsibilities:
Basic cleaning tasks in commercial premises - dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restrooms, and kitchens
Manual cleaning of newly built industrial premises before handover to owner including vacuuming and wiping
Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects
General reporting on each job including any discrepancies with the original scope of work, including note taking, photo documenting and preparing defect lists where appropriate
Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities using the company preferred software and apps
Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
Work with chemicals and follow required safety instructions
Stock and maintain supply rooms
Follow all health and safety regulations

Flexible with working hours, some clients require work outside 9am-5pm
Confident working autonomously
Reliable, qualified and well presented at all times
Team player
Detail orientated; clients expect a high standard of work
Quick and efficient with your time
Confident on construction sites
Savvy and logical with good common sense
Ability to think on your feet
Comfortable speaking with clients and head office staff
Willing to recommend efficiencies or changes that may benefit the business
Regular use of the company rostering app to communicate job start, completion and general notes to head office
Requirements:
Driver's licence is a must
Rights to work in Australia is a must
COVID-19 vaccinations are up to date
Other:
Initial casual probation period with full time hours, with a view to moving to a full-time position
Head office in Epping, jobs to be completed across Melbourne
Construction Induction Card (white card) preferred but not necessary
Candidates may be subject to a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screen as well as a driving history check
