Wise Kids ELC is seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team in Beaconsfield, VIC.
This is a part time or full-time position that offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young children during their critical developmental years.The hours can be flexible between 8.30am-4.30pm.6 weeks of paid annual leave.20 place kindergarten room 3 and 4 year old.As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will create nurturing, inclusive and stimulating learning environments that support the holistic development of children in our care.
This role is essential to our mission of providing high-quality early childhood education and fostering a love of learning from the earliest stages.Key responsibilitiesPlan, implement and evaluate developmentally appropriate learning activities and experiences that promote cognitive, physical, social, emotional and creative developmentProvide attentive supervision and duty of care to ensure the safety, wellbeing and security of all children at all timesBuild positive relationships with children, families and colleagues, fostering an inclusive and welcoming communityObserve and assess individual children's learning and development, maintaining detailed records and communicating progress with families and staffSupport children's transition through different play and learning spaces, responding sensitively to their individual needs and interestsCollaborate with colleagues to maintain a clean, safe and organised learning environment that meets legislative requirements and best practice standardsCommunicate regularly with families about their child's experiences, learning and development through newsletters,



conversations and formal reportsParticipate in professional development and team meetings to support continuous improvement and compliance with early childhood education frameworksWhat we're looking forRecognised Early Childhood Teaching qualification (Bachelor of Early Childhood Education)Current Working with Children Check (WWC) clearanceCurrent First Aid and CPR certification appropriate to early childhood settingsDemonstrated knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and ability to implement play-based learning approachesStrong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and team membersPatience, empathy and a genuine passion for supporting young children's learning and developmentAbility to work collaboratively within a team environment and contribute to a positive workplace cultureFlexibility and adaptability in responding to the changing needs of children and familiesExperience working in early childhood education settings is highly desirableWhat we offerAt Wise Kids ELC, we are committed to supporting the wellbeing and professional growth of our staff.
