Our workplace embraces diversity and inclusion – it's a place where you can grow, belong and thrive.Your day at NTT DATAWe are seeking an experienced and commercially focused Tax Manager to oversee all Australian tax compliance and reporting activities.Working closely with the Group Financial Controller, you will enjoy broad involvement across all areas of Tax.This role ensures compliance with ATO requirements while supporting strategic tax planning and risk management across the organisation.Key Responsibilities:Manage preparation and review of company income tax returnsOversee BAS, GST, FBT and PAYG tax complianceManage quarterly tax effect accounting and deferred tax calculationsManage ATO Top 1,000 Combined Assurance Reviews (CAR) and related tax governance documentationCoordinate and manage external tax testing and implement improvementsManage anti-hybrid mismatch rules compliance and reportingSupport head office with compliance with OECD Pillar Two (Global Minimum Tax) requirementsMonitor changes in Australian tax legislation and advise on impactsProvide tax advice to internal stakeholders on transactions and business initiativesManage transfer pricing documentation, including updated Short Form Local File requirements, in conjunction with tax advisorsSupport head office with Australian Public Country-by-Country (CbC) Reporting, regulations.Support external auditors with income tax audit requirements,



including preparation of tax disclosures and working papersPrepare and present tax updates to the Board of DirectorsSupport and lead tax aspects of entity restructuringsImprove internal tax processes, controls, and governance frameworksLiaise with external advisors and auditorsMentor and develop junior finance/tax staffTo thrive in this role, you need to have:Ability to establish and maintain solid working relationships with stakeholdersExcellent planning and organizing skillsGood knowledge of accounting processes and proceduresProblem analysis and solving skillsAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesAbility to prioritize workload in a fast-paced environmentGood verbal and written communication skillsAbility to multitask and work independentlyDemonstrates mathematical skillsExhibits deductive reasoning skillsAbility to produce a high quality of workDemonstrate high ethics and adherence to company valuesPrecise and meticulous when preparing tax returns and other related documentationRequired experience and certifications:CA or CPA qualification10+ years' experience in Australian tax (Big 4/mid-tier/public practice or industry)Strong knowledge of Australian corporate tax, GST,
