fault finding and continuous improvement activities to ensure production equipment operates safely and efficiently.This is a hands‐on position working closely with production and maintenance personnel within a large industrial manufacturing operation.Duties will include:Preventative maintenance of production machineryBreakdown diagnosis and repairsMechanical fitting and assembly workHydraulic and pneumatic system maintenanceWelding and fabrication repairsMachine fault finding and troubleshootingContinuous improvement and reliability projectsSupporting production to minimise downtimeWorking safely within a manufacturing environmentTO APPLY YOU SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:Mechanical Fitter Trade QualificationExperience maintaining industrial manufacturing equipmentHydraulic and pneumatic experienceWelding and fabrication skillsAbility to read engineering drawingsForklift, EWP or elevated work platform licence advantageousPLC, VSD, Light Curtains and Safety Relay exposure highly regardedThis company offers a secure long‐term position with excellent working conditions, contemporary facilities and a strong maintenance team environment.If you are looking for a stable afternoon shift role with a respected Australian manufacturer, then we would like to hear from you.
