About the roleThe Penguin Pantry is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista to join our team in Penguin, Tasmania.
This is a casual position offering adaptable working arrangements to suit your lifestyle.
As a Barista, you will be at the heart of our hospitality operation, creating exceptional coffee experiences and providing outstanding customer service to our valued guests.
This role is crucial to establishing the welcoming atmosphere and quality standards that define our venue.What you'll be doingPreparing and serving high-quality espresso-based beverages and specialty coffee drinksOperating and maintaining espresso machines and other coffee-making equipment to the highest standardsTaking customer orders and processing payments accurately and efficientlyProviding friendly, attentive customer service and building positive relationships with regular patronsMaintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the service area, including equipment and work stationsManaging stock levels and assisting with ordering supplies as requiredWorking collaboratively with team members during busy service periodsFollowing all food safety and health regulationsWhat we're looking forProven experience working as a Barista in a busy hospitality environmentStrong knowledge of coffee varieties,
