Warran Glen Garden Centre is seeking a Retail Sales Assistant to join our team on a casual basis.
This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic retail environment within the garden centre sector.
Based in Warrandyte, VIC, this role is primarily within our gift shop, helping customers choose from our range of homewares, fashion and gifts while keeping the shop welcoming, organised and well presented.What you'll be doingProviding friendly and knowledgeable customer service to gift shop customers, assisting them in finding products across homewares, fashion and gifting categories.Processing sales transactions accurately using the point of sale system and handling cash and card paymentsMaintaining a clean, well‐organised retail space by stocking shelves, rotating merchandise and ensuring products are displayed attractivelySupporting inventory management by checking stock levels and assisting with receiving and unpacking deliveriesContributing to a positive team environment by supporting colleagues and maintaining a professional demeanour at all timesFollowing health, safety and security procedures to ensure a secure shopping environmentWhat we're looking forPrevious experience working in a retail environment, preferably in a gift,
