We operate a small manufacturing facility in North Geelong and are expanding our production team.About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Food Production Machine Operator.
This is a hands-on manufacturing position requiring previous experience operating and adjusting production equipment.Your responsibilities will include:Preparing and weighing ingredients for production batchesSetting up, operating and monitoring food-processing and filling equipmentMaking basic machine adjustments during productionIdentifying and responding to equipment or product-quality issuesCompleting batch records and production checks accuratelyFollowing recipes, specifications and food-safety proceduresCleaning and sanitising machinery and production areasAssisting with changeovers and production preparationThis is not a commercial kitchen, cooking or general labouring position.Essential ExperienceApplicants must have:At least one year of recent experience in food, beverage,



pharmaceutical or FMCG manufacturingPractical experience operating production machineryExperience following batch sheets, recipes or production specificationsA valuable understanding of hygiene, cleaning and food-safety requirementsThe ability to recognise when machinery or a production process is not operating correctlyAustralian working rightsReliable transport to North GeelongA Food Handler Certificate and forklift licence are advantageous but not essential.About YouYou will suit this role if you:Are mechanically minded and confident working with machineryWork accurately without constant supervisionTake responsibility for quality, hygiene and production outputCan perform physically active work, including lifting ingredients and equipmentAre reliable, practical and comfortable working in a small teamHours and BenefitsDay shiftFour 9.5-hour shifts per weekRegular and consistent hoursOvertime opportunities with applicable overtime ratesOnsite parkingOpportunity for permanent employment following a successful casual periodPay: $33–$35 per hour, depending on experience.
