AMIGA Montessori is excited to be opening a brand-new, purpose-built centre in Mount Barker, South Australia, and we are looking for a passionate and experienced Educational Leader to join our founding team.
With an anticipated opening in October ****, this is a unique opportunity to join AMIGA before the doors open and play an important role in shaping the educational culture, practices and learning environments of a brand-new service.This is more than just another Educational Leader role.
It is an opportunity to help build something special from the ground up.
As our Educational Leader, you will support and mentor educators, guide curriculum and reflective practice, and help create a centre where children, educators and families feel they truly belong.

As a family-owned organisation with 17 centres and growing, we provide high-quality education and care for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years in warm, purpose-built environments.

observations and documentation Support reflective practice and continuous improvement across the centre Promote solid understanding and implementation of the EYLF and NQS Work closely with the Centre Manager and leadership team to drive quality outcomes Support educators to create engaging, inclusive and child-led learning environments Champion AMIGA's Montessori approach and support educators to embed Montessori principles into everyday practice Build strong relationships with children, families and the wider community Help create a culture of learning, collaboration, child safety and continuous improvement About you You will ideally have: Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care Previous experience in a Room Leader, Educational Leader or leadership role within early childhood education and care Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework Confidence coaching, mentoring and supporting educators Strong written and verbal communication skills A passion for developing people and building capable, confident teams A warm, professional and collaborative approach A strong commitment to child safety, quality practice and continuous improvement Montessori experience or a genuine interest in Montessori education, highly regarded Build a legacy in Mount Barker Opportunities to join a centre before it opens are rare.
