This role will suit a candidate who can prepare accurate drafting documentation, support design and construction outcomes, and contribute to the delivery of high-quality civil and structural layout information relevant to the company's projects.
Position: Civil Engineering Draftsperson Location: Reedy Creek, QLD Key Responsibilities
preparing detailed drawings, plans, layouts and technical drafting documents for civil and construction-related works connected to residential and associated infrastructure projects
producing clear site plans, design sketches, cross-sections, schedules and supporting documentation for use in planning, approvals and construction stages
developing drafting outputs for works such as stormwater and drainage layouts, access arrangements, service connections, pavements, retaining structures and other project-related civil components
translating design concepts, engineering notes and project requirements into accurate and practical drafting packages




preparing charts, tabulations and drawing registers to support project coordination and document control
revising drawings and plans in response to design updates, consultant feedback, site conditions and client requirements
assisting with the preparation of documentation required for council submissions, project approvals and construction issue sets
coordinating drafting information with architects, designers, engineers, site supervisors and other project stakeholders to maintain consistency across project documents
checking dimensions, levels, specifications and drafting details to support accuracy and compliance with project requirements
helping ensure plans reflect relevant construction standards, project scopes and practical buildability considerations
maintaining organised drawing records, revision histories and technical files for ongoing and future project reference
supporting the project team with drafting amendments, design clarification and documentation updates during active project delivery
contributing to continuous improvement in drafting quality, presentation standards and documentation efficiency across the business
Skills and Experience
at least 1 year of relevant work experience
an AQF associate degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in a relevant field
