Our client, one of Australia's leading family-owned food processing companies, specialising in the production and export of premium beef, lamb, and goat products with operations across Australia and a strong presence in global markets, is looking for a delivery driver to be a part of the team.
About the roleYou will be responsible for delivering products to customers safely and efficiently while supporting the team with loading, order preparation and vehicle care.
This role plays a key part in maintaining our high standards in safety, presentation and customer service.
Key responsibilities
Deliver orders safely and efficiently to customers across metro and regional routes
Complete daily vehicle safety inspections and run sheets
Assist with loading, strapping and preparing orders before departure
Break down pallets and support warehouse operations when required
Ensure deliveries are checked, invoices signed and payments handled correctly
Follow fatigue management requirements and road rules at all times
Maintain truck cleanliness, refuel daily and report any faults or incidents
Support late or unexpected deliveries when required
Comply with WHS,



Chain of Responsibility and company policies
What we're looking for
Valid Medium Rigid (MR) truck licence
Willing to undergo pre-employment medicals
Experience driving heavy vehicles and performing deliveries
Solid knowledge of road rules and transport compliance
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
Reliable, organised and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Good communication and customer service skills
Ability to work early starts and occasional out-of-hours shifts
Police clearance (or willingness to obtain)
