Join a Specialist Oil & Gas OperationPirtek Oil & Gas Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Hose Technician with proven API 7K Monogrammed hose system experience to join our growing Perth operation supporting the oil & gas, drilling and energy sectors.
This is not a standard hydraulic workshop role.
We are looking for technicians experienced in:• High-pressure hose assembly• API-certified hose systems• Hydrostatic pressure testing• NATA / ISO-compliant testing environments• Oil & gas industry quality requirements
Applicants must have hands-on industry experience and be capable of working within a technically demanding, safety-critical environment.
Applications without demonstrated API 7K and oil & gas hose testing experience may not be considered.
About the RoleYou will be responsible for the assembly, testing, certification and quality control of specialist hose systems used in critical oil & gas applications.
You will work within a professional workshop environment operating under:• ISO ****• ISO *****• NATA requirements• API standards
The role involves both workshop-based technical work and supporting operational requirements across the business.
Essential Requirements· Applicants must be able to provide supporting documentation verifying API 7K hose assembly and testing experience
· Proven experience with API 7K Monogrammed hose systems
· Oil & gas industry experience
· Experience with Spir Star, Campbell Fittings or Mario fittings




· NATA certification or exposure to NATA environments
· Working knowledge of ISO ***** testing requirements
· Industrial and hydraulic hose assembly experience
· Hydrostatic pressure testing experience
· Experience operating pressure test rigs
· Current forklift licence
· Ability to read and follow technical instructions and procedures
· Strong understanding of workshop safety and quality systems
Additional Highly Regarded Qualifications· Dogman ticket
· Certificate II Engineering or similar trade qualification
Key Responsibilities· Assemble specialist hydraulic and industrial hose systems
· Conduct high and low-pressure testing
· Operate hydrostatic test equipment safely
· Complete testing documentation, reports and certification
· Ensure compliance with API, ISO and NATA standards
· Maintain quality assurance requirements
· Support workshop and stores operations as required
· Maintain safe and clean work areas
· Assist with continuous improvement and problem solving
