Job Description
As a Mechanical Fitting & Turning Apprentice, you will be responsible for tasks including:
* Conducting work safely, following written and verbal instructions, and developing safety risk assessments, including Take 5 personal hazard assessments and job safety assessments
* Carrying out routine site maintenance on mobile and fixed plant assets
* Use workshop equipment to manufacture and repair components
* Investigating faults and identifying suitable solutions
* Working collaboratively within a maintenance team

Queensland Nitrates (QNP) is a state-of-the-art, fully integrated Ammonium Nitrate production facility located 5km east of Moura, supplying Ammonium Nitrate to the Queensland resources industry.
About the Candidate
* Successful completion of Year 10 or equivalent (essential)
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical (essential)
* Local to the Moura area (desirable)
* Current Driver's Licence - Manual (desirable)
* Work experience in a similar role (desirable)
