ensuring that quality control measures are met consistently.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESOperate equipment and perform tasks in line with site Work Instructions / Safe Operating ProceduresEnsure product quality and packaging standards are maintained and comply with delivery targetsParticipate in training to become a multi-skilled team memberCommunicate and endorse safety practices, monitor key safety performance indicators and visibly participate in promoting safety policies and initiativesTake full accountability for personal safety and well-being, develop an understanding of risk minimisation and be committed to achieving the highest possible standards for Safety, Health and the Setting (SH&E;)ESSENTIALUnderstanding of basic safety principlesAbility to work autonomously and maintain a high level of activity across all shiftsDemonstrated experience in working in a team environmentBasic understanding of quality principlesDESIRABLEPrevious experience in a manufacturing environmentExperience with automated machineryAbility to identify problems and resolve or contribute to resolution thereofForklift licenceExperience and knowledge of material handlingBasic computer literacy skillsApplicants must also be prepared to undertake and pass a pre-employment medical inclusive of drug and alcohol test.As part of our diversity and inclusion journey, Capral is aiming to increase the representation of women across our businesses.
