Key ResponsibilitiesAssist dermatologists with consultations and procedures, including biopsies, skin excisionsCoordinate dermatologist consulting and procedural lists to ensure efficient patient flow throughout the dayDeliver high-quality pre- and post-procedure patient care and educationPrepare treatment rooms, equipment and consumables for proceduresMaintain infection control standards, sterilisation processes and clinical stockAssist with biologic therapy administration, patient education and ongoing managementPerform photodynamic therapy (PDT)Process and manage PBS/PRODA registrations and associated documentation where requiredMaintain accurate clinical documentationSupport the smooth day-to-day operation of the clinic, including reception duties when requiredEssential RequirementsCurrent AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled NurseMinimum three years' experience working in a specialist dermatology practiceMinimum two years' post-graduate nursing experienceDemonstrated ability to independently coordinate a dermatologist's consulting and procedural listsExperience with biologic therapies, including patient education and PBS/PRODA registrationsExcellent knowledge of dermatological procedures and patient managementAbility to anticipate the needs of dermatologists and proactively manage workflow in a busy clinicHigh attention to detail with excellent organisational and time management skillsOutstanding communication and patient care skillsA calm, professional and collaborative approachConfidence working in a rapid-paced specialist practice with minimal supervisionExperience with lasers highly regardedWhat We OfferA supportive, friendly and highly experienced clinical teamA modern specialist dermatology practice in the heart of South YarraFlexible casual employment with a guaranteed minimum of two days per weekAdditional shifts available to cover annual leave and increased clinic demandOpportunity for a three-day working week through a job-share arrangement with North Western DermatologyCompetitive remuneration commensurate with skills and experience
