Disability Support Agency – Cranbourne VICWe are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team, on a casual but permanent basis.
As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing individualised care and support to our clients with physical, intellectual and psychosocial disabilities, helping them to live independently and achieve their personal goals.What you'll be doingAssisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasksAccompanying clients to appointments, social activities, and community eventsProviding emotional support and encouragement to help clients reach their full potentialCollaborating with the client, their families, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalised support plansMaintaining accurate records and documentation to ensure the highest quality of careAdhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and safety guidelinesWhat we're looking forA Certificate III or IV in Individual Support or equivalent qualificationCandidates currently studying towards their Certificate are also encouraged to applyMinimum of 6 months previous experience working with people with disabilities is requiredStrong communication and interpersonal skills,
