Axcess Healthcare Melbourne is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Assistant to join our growing pharmacy team based in Mordialloc.
This is a hands‐on position within our pharmacy operations, where you will play a crucial role in supporting our dispensing and packaging operations.
In this role, you will contribute directly to patient safety and care by ensuring that medications are accurately prepared and packaged according to strict pharmaceutical standards.
Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will be essential to our success.Key responsibilitiesAssisting with the preparation and packing of medications into Dose Administration Aids (DAA) under the guidance of qualified pharmacy staffEnsuring accurate labelling and organisation of packed medication units according to pharmacy protocolsMaintaining a clean, organised and hygienic workspace in compliance with pharmaceutical standardsPerforming stock checks and inventory management tasks to support pharmacy operationsSupporting the dispensary team with general administrative and operational tasksFollowing all safety procedures and pharmaceutical regulations to maintain a protected working environmentAssisting with the organisation and filing of pharmacy records and documentationContributing to the overall efficiency of the pharmacy by supporting team members as requiredWhat we're looking forExcellent attention to detail and accuracy,
