What It Takes
1 year of experience
Ability to work safely in an industrial manufacturing setting
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn technical processes
Basic computer skills required
Experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes preferred
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
Reliable and team-oriented
Comfortable working around industrial equipment and heat treat furnaces
Interested in developing long-term manufacturing and production skills
Able to follow instructions and work under supervision during training

What You Will Do On the Floor
Assist with heat treatment operations for forged metal products
Prepare furnace loads based on material type and furnace capacity
Monitor and support furnace operation, startup, and temperature control processes
Verify piece counts and inspect material condition before and after heat treatment
Check parts for straightness and flatness and assist with cold or hot straightening when needed
Perform hardness inspections and basic quality checks on materials
Follow all workplace safety procedures and company policies
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
