FDH Equip Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Lead Field Service Diesel Fitter to join our growing maintenance team.
This is a permanent, full-time, hands-on position responsible for maintaining and repairing our up-to-date fleet of earthmoving equipment throughout Far North Queensland.
The successful applicant will be our lead field service fitter, working closely with the Workshop Manager and Operations Team to maintain the highest standards across our fleet while providing technical guidance and support to our maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities
Field service, breakdown diagnosis and repairs.
Scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance.
Hydraulic, engine and electrical diagnostics.
Remote breakdown attendance throughout Far North Queensland when required.
Maintain a high standard of presentation and reliability across our fleet.
Support and mentor apprentices and junior technicians.
Assist with planning and coordinating field service activities.

About You
Trade Qualified Diesel Fitter / Heavy Equipment Mechanic.
Extensive experience maintaining earthmoving equipment.
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
A practical leader who leads by example.
Willingness to travel throughout Far North Queensland, including occasional overnight stays.
Current manual driver's licence (HR Licence preferred).
