Brown Recruitment Services is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our client on a project in the South-east of Brisbane, QLD.
This is a full time position that plays a crucial leadership role on site, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
As Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction operations, managing teams, coordinating resources and maintaining the highest standards of health, safety and quality.
This role is integral to the success of our projects and offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on construction excellence.
The first project will be a multi-level commercial building which is structural, refurbishment and fit out.Key responsibilitiesPlan, coordinate and oversee all daily construction activities on site to ensure projects progress according to scheduleManage and supervise construction teams, including labourers, tradespersons and contractors, ensuring effective communication and performance standardsImplement and enforce strict health and safety protocols, conducting regular site inspections and toolbox meetings to maintain a safe working environmentMonitor project budgets and costs, tracking expenditures and reporting variances to managementEnsure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations and contractual requirementsQuality assurance of work performed, conducting inspections and resolving defects promptlyLiaise with clients, architects, engineers and subcontractors to maintain positive relationships and resolve issuesManage site administration, including permits, documentation, records and reportingMaintain accurate records of work completed,



materials used and labour hoursRespond to incidents and accidents, ensuring appropriate reporting and corrective actionsWhat we're looking forProven experience as a Site Manager or Foreman in the construction industry, with a minimum of 5 years in a supervisory capacityStrong knowledge of construction methods, materials, safety protocols and building regulations relevant to QueenslandSomeone who is quick on program and has the ability to organise multiple tradesExcellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teamsOutstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with all stakeholdersSound understanding of budgeting, cost control and financial reportingCurrent driver's licenceRelevant construction certifications or qualifications such as a Construction Safety Induction Card (White Card) or equivalentDemonstrated commitment to health and safety excellence on siteProblem-solving abilities and strong decision-making skills under pressurePreferred: Experience with residential, commercial or civil construction projects in the Brisbane areaAbout usBrown Recruitment Services is a leading recruitment specialist in the construction industry across Queensland.
