About the roleWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Tyre Fitter/Wheel Aligner to join our team at Bridgestone service centre in Fyshwick.
This is a full-time position based in Fyshwick ACT ****.
In this role, you will be responsible for fitting tyres, performing wheel alignments, and delivering exceptional service to our customers.
You will play a vital part in ensuring that vehicles are maintained to the highest safety standards whilst contributing to the success of our busy service centre.
Key responsibilities
Fitting and balancing tyres on a variety of vehicles, including cars, vans, and light commercial vehicles
Performing wheel alignment checks and adjustments using modern diagnostic equipment
Inspecting tyres and wheels for damage, wear, and safety compliance
Operating and maintaining tyre fitting and alignment equipment to ensure accuracy and safety
Recording all work completed accurately in the workshop management system
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment in accordance with health and safety regulations
Assisting other team members and contributing to the smooth operation of the service centre
Ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards
What we're looking for
Formal qualification or extensive proven experience as a Tyre Fitter and/or Wheel Aligner
Strong technical knowledge of tyre fitting, balancing, and wheel alignment procedures
Proficiency in using tyre fitting machines, wheel balancers, and wheel alignment equipment
A valid driver's licence and a reliable driving record




Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers
Physical fitness and the ability to work in a fast-paced workshop setting
Team player mentality with a willingness to support colleagues
Reliability and punctuality
Preferably, experience working in an automotive service centre or tyre retail environment
