This is a Recruitment Pool for
Casual, Permanent, Fixed Term Part Time and Full Time positions

Position Profile:
Leads the multidisciplinary team to provide specialist
Infectious Disease medicine services to patients.
Promotes patient safety and quality of care.
Provides
leadership, orientation, training, supervision and education,
where relevant, for doctors in training and other health
workers.
In collaboration with the Head of Department and other
Consultants works to achieve national, state and EMHS
performance standards and targets.
Works within the scope of clinical practice as defined and




recommended by the EMHS Area Medical Credentialing
Committee.
Other Conditions:
WA Health engages staff in positions of trust and responsibility.
WA Health policies require applicants to undertake a criminal
records screening and integrity checking as part of the appointment
process.
As well as undertaking a criminal record screening and
integrity checking, you may also be required to undertake a working
with children check (if required for the role) and a pre-employment
health assessment.
We may ask referees to comment on your integrity
and past demonstration of ethical behaviour.
Please note that

This position is subject to a Western Australian Working With
