Jadestone Energy is a leading oil and gas development and production company in the Asia Pacific region with a strategy towards acquiring and further developing producing fields.
Jadestone Energy currently operates two producing assets off the coast of Western Australia and is currently progressing several acquisitions for additional assets in Recent Zealand, Indonesia and Malaysia.
Jadestone Energy Australia are currently seeking applications from experienced Production Technician's for a position on the Stag Platform.
This position works a roster of 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off, 2 weeks on, 4 weeks off.
The Production Technician is primarily responsible for operating all the process and ancillary equipment to ensure safety, production and OPEX targets are achieved.
This includes working closely within a team-oriented environment assisting with the efficient operation of all aspects of the facility.
Key accountabilities of the position are:
Carry out the duties and responsibilities of the Permit Authority, Panel/Field Operator, and Authorised Gas Tester across day and night shift.
Be a member of the Incident Response Team.
Create and revise facility Operational Procedures.
Monitor production and utility system parameters to ensure that the facility is operated within a safe working envelope, ensuring emissions, energy efficiency, and production targets are met.
Create, revise and complete work orders.




Conduct Critical Device Function Testing & monitoring of chemical performance.
Carry out process isolations as directed and in accordance with the PTW procedure.
Maintain a pro-active approach towards HSE by identifying facility hazards, ensuring environmental compliance & incident reporting, including participation in safety & toolbox meetings.
The ideal candidate will have the following experience: Experience in the Oil/Gas industry together with offshore or remote location experience in a multi-skilled environment or experience working in remote locations in a multi-skilled environment would be considered an alternative.
5+ years in a similar position.
Strong self-motivational skills.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work in and foster a team environment.
Strong leadership skills in field operations and safety management.
