Position Profile and Role
We are currently seeking a to join our
team.
This position provides, leadership, direction, advice and
management of the service in consultancy with the Nurse Director.
Areas of accountability include the provision of leadership,
clinical standard setting and monitoring, policy development, and
change management.
The Nurse Coordinator – Informatics is also responsible for
managing a team that provides digital leadership in the
development, use and support of key South Metropolitan Health
Service (SMHS) Clinical Information Systems (CIS), ultimately
assisting clinicians in the delivery of patient care; facilitating
quality improvement; and enabling the conduct of research and
evidence-based practice activities.
