Production and Logistics Coordinator
A bit about the role:
Reporting to the Winemaker, you'll be responsible for coordinating production planning, inventory control, warehouse operations and logistics across the business.
Your responsibilities will include:
Developing and maintaining production schedules aligned with sales forecasts, seasonal demand and production capacity.
Generate direct customer invoices through our ERP/accounting system, ensuring accurate stock allocation, inventory integrity and timely order fulfilment.
Coordinating bottling, packaging and dispatch activities to ensure customer orders are delivered accurately and on time.
Managing inventory across bulk wine, dry goods, packaging, work-in-progress and finished goods.
Maintaining accurate stock records, inventory systems, traceability and documentation.
Coordinating regular stocktakes and inventory reconciliation.
Supporting warehouse operations, stock movements and product dispatch.
Working closely with freight providers and transport partners to deliver excellent customer service.
Monitoring production, inventory and logistics performance and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency.
Ensuring compliance with quality, food safety, workplace safety and industry standards.
Collaborating across departments to support production planning, vintage rollovers and continuous improvement initiatives.
The role can be FT or Part Time to allow some flexibility to suit the work/life requirements of the successful applicant.
The role is based in McLaren Vale.

Ideally you'll bring:
Experience in production planning, inventory, logistics or warehouse coordination.
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
Solid attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Confidence using inventory, ERP or production management systems.
A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a mindset for continuous improvement.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships across the business.
Experience within wine, food manufacturing or FMCG will be highly regarded, but is not essential.

As our Production & Logistics Coordinator, you'll play a key role behind the scenes in ensuring our growing portfolio of Maxwell and Fox Creek wines, together with our award-winning meads, are produced, managed and delivered to the highest standard.
From production planning and inventory management to logistics and customer fulfilment, your work will directly support the quality, efficiency and reputation of our brands.

MUST HAVES:
- Proven experience in production, inventory, warehouse or logistics coordination.
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Strong computer skills, with experience using excel, ERP, inventory or accounting systems.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to identify issues and drive improvements.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships across the business.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic and alignment with Maxwell's values of accountability, humility and continuous improvement.
- Applicants must have Australian citizenship/residency or a valid Australian work visa.
NICE TO HAVES (one or combination of the below):
- Experience in the wine, food, beverage or FMCG manufacturing industry.
- Experience with production planning, inventory forecasting or supply chain coordination.
- Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain one).
- Experience using MYOB, Xero or similar business management systems.
- Experience working with freight providers and transport logistics.
- An interest for food and wine
