About the RoleThe Partnerships and Events Specialist supports Perth Festival's Development team by managing a portfolio of partnerships and delivering high-quality development events and corporate hospitality experiences.
The role combines hands-on partnership account management – including relationship cultivation, proposals, reporting and acquittals – with end-to-end coordination of development stakeholder events and hospitality programs that deepen partner and donor engagement.
The role also contributes to new business development activities and supports broader Development department functions as needed.
What You'll Do
Manage end to end delivery of all hospitality events for donors, corporate sponsors, government partners and VIP stakeholders year-round and during the Festival period.
Manage a portfolio of partnerships,



including proposals, contracts, invoicing, fulfillment of obligations and partner reporting.
Build and maintain productive day-to-day relationships with partners, acting as their primary liaison across Perth Festival departments.
Work with the Senior Managers in Development to align partnerships, philanthropy and grants to specific Festival events, programs and activities.
Contribute to year-round stewardship strategies that engage existing and prospective partners through targeted communications, events and unique experiences.
Ensure all partnership benefits and contractual commitments are delivered accurately and on time.
Maintain an accurate database of current and prospective partners in the CRM.
Proactively research and identify new corporate partnership opportunities.
Maintain a prospects register, tracking deadlines, eligibility and recommendations for applications.
About You
You are Partnership and Event specialist with a track record of delivering high-quality events and corporate hospitality experiences.
You'll bring:
Demonstrated experience in corporate partnership management, account management, sponsorship or a related stakeholder-facing role.
Demonstrated ability to manage events end-to-end, from planning through to delivery, ideally in an arts, cultural, corporate or not-for-profit context.




Strong relationship management skills with the ability to engage and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Excellent written communication skills with experience preparing proposals, applications, reports or similar.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple competing deadlines simultaneously.
Proficiency with CRM and event management databases (experience with Tessitura advantageous).
Ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams and stakeholder groups.
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends during the Festival period.
It would be great if you also have:
Experience within the arts, cultural, festival, entertainment or not-for-profit sectors.
Experience coordinating corporate hospitality programs or VIP experiences.
Tertiary qualification in Events Management, Business, Communications, Arts Management or a related discipline.
Knowledge of acquittal processes or fundraising practices.
Experience with supplier negotiation and event budget management.
