This role is ideal for someone who's mechanically minded, enjoys problem-solving, and is eager to build a trade career with experienced mentors.
Whether you're working in our well-equipped workshop or gaining exposure in the field, no two days are the same.
As an apprentice at Berendsen, you'll be part of a tight-knit, supportive team that genuinely values your development.
You'll work toward your Certificate III in Engineering, initially in the Fitter/Machinist specialisation, then have the chance to specialise by undertaking a Cert IV one of two certified pathways:
Fluid Power - hydraulics & fluid power systems, our specialist core
Welding - fabrication and welding capability across the trades

About You
Minimum Year 10 High School Certificate
Passion for mechanical or technical work
Strong initiative, willingness to learn, and a positive attitude
Good problem-solving and communication skills
Current Australian driver's licence and strong safety mindset
