About the Role
We are seeking a Level 1 Business Software Support Consultant to provide responsive and practical assistance to clients using our ERP systems and custom-developed business applications.
The role will primarily involve supporting Jiwa Financials, together with other software products, integrations and custom applications developed or maintained by our team.
You will be the first point of contact for many support enquiries.
Your responsibilities will include gathering information, investigating straightforward issues, guiding users through standard solutions, documenting your findings and escalating more complex matters to senior consultants or developers.
This is not a general desktop, hardware or password-reset help-desk role.
The focus is on supporting business software and helping users resolve application, data, workflow and process-related issues.
You do not need to be an experienced ERP consultant or software developer.
Training in Jiwa Financials, our custom applications and internal support processes will be provided.
However, you must have some previous customer support, software support, help-desk or service-desk experience.
You must also be comfortable speaking with clients, investigating unfamiliar issues and learning how business applications operate.
This is a full-time work-from-home position.
The successful candidate must reside in the Perth metropolitan area and be able to attend local client sites when required.
What You Will Be Doing

Provide Level 1 support for Jiwa Financials and related business systems
Support users of custom-developed business applications
Respond to support requests by telephone, email and remote-support tools
Gather relevant information and clarify reported issues
Reproduce and investigate straightforward software problems
Guide clients through standard application features and processes
Resolve basic user, configuration and process-related issues
Identify whether an issue relates to user operation, data, system configuration, customisation or software functionality
Record clear and accurate notes in the support system
Prioritise and manage assigned support tickets
Escalate complex or technical matters with sufficient supporting information
Keep clients informed about the status of their support requests
Test software corrections, updates and customisations where required
Assist with routine software upgrades and data checks
Prepare and update user guides,
knowledge-base articles and support documentation
Assist with remote and on-site user training
Develop an understanding of each client's systems and business processes
Attend client sites within Perth for support, training or other operational requirements when needed
About You
You enjoy helping people, working with software and solving problems.
You are patient, approachable and able to remain calm when users are experiencing difficulties.
You understand how to ask clear questions, gather relevant information and work through an issue methodically.
You do not need to know the answer immediately.
However, you must be willing to investigate, document what you find and take responsibility for progressing the matter appropriately.
You communicate clearly, manage your time well and are comfortable working independently from home while remaining connected with the broader team.
Essential Requirements
Previous experience in customer support, software support, application support, service desk, help desk or a similar user-facing role
