We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sustainability
Advisor to join our team delivering a major road infrastructure
project in Perth.
This is an exciting opportunity for a recent
graduate or early career professional to gain practical experience
supporting sustainability initiatives across a high profile
infrastructure project.
Working closely with the Sustainability Manager and broader
project team, you will assist with implementing sustainability
strategies, monitoring project performance, coordinating reporting,
and identifying opportunities to improve environmental and social
outcomes.
This role offers valuable exposure to the construction
industry while building the skills and experience needed for a
successful career in sustainability.
You will be responsible for but not limited
to:
Supporting the implementation of the project's
Sustainability Management Plan and sustainability
objectives.
Assisting with sustainability data collection, monitoring
and reporting against project KPIs.
Maintaining sustainability records and project
documentation.
Supporting waste reduction, resource efficiency and social
and community initiatives.
Assisting with project Annual Sustainability Reporting
Requirements.
Collaborating with subcontractors and project stakeholders
to promote sustainable practices.
Supporting sustainability audits, inspections and
compliance activities.
Assisting with sustainability awareness initiatives and
community and stakeholder engagement activities.
Contributing to the successful delivery of sustainability
commitments for the project.
To be considered for this position, you must possess the
following as a minimum:
A degree (or be in your final year of study) in
Sustainability, Environmental Science, Environmental
Engineering, Environmental Management or a related
discipline.
A genuine passion for sustainability and improving
environmental outcomes.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to
detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
and Word.
The ability to work effectively within a collaborative team
environment.
A current Australian Driver's Licence (desirable).
