About the role
HVAC Canberra is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable HVAC Service Admin (cadet) to join our growing team in Canberra, ACT.
This is a full-time position that offers an excellent opportunity to kick-start your career in the air conditioning and refrigeration industry.
As a cadet, you will work alongside experienced administrative professionals, gaining valuable experience whilst supporting the day-to-day operations of our service department.
This role is essential in ensuring our customers receive prompt, skilled service and that our technical team operates efficiently in the field.
Key responsibilities
Answering customer enquiries via telephone and email, responding professionally and efficiently to service requests
Scheduling and coordinating service appointments, ensuring optimal routing and technician availability
Maintaining accurate records of customer information, service history and job details in our management system
Preparing work orders and job documentation for technicians before they depart for appointments
Assisting technicians with administrative tasks, including parts ordering and stock management
Processing invoices and managing basic financial documentation related to service calls
Supporting the warehouse with inventory management and organisation of tools and equipment
What we're looking for
Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal,



with a professional and courteous manner
Basic computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Reliability, punctuality and a willingness to learn from experienced professionals
Physical fitness and the ability to perform light manual tasks safely
A keen interest in the HVAC and refrigeration industry and commitment to developing admin knowledge
Excellent customer service orientation and the ability to represent HVAC Canberra professionally
