About the role
We are seeking an experienced Executive Housekeeper to join our 5-star luxury hotel in Perth, WA ****.
This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary package commensurate with your experience and expertise.
As Executive Housekeeper, you will be responsible for overseeing all housekeeping operations and ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, organisation, and guest satisfaction are maintained throughout the property.
This is a strategic leadership role that directly impacts the guest experience and the overall success of the hotel.
You will lead a dedicated housekeeping team, manage budgets and resources, and work collaboratively with other departments to deliver the exceptional service our guests expect from a 5-star establishment.
Full Australian working rights with no limitations or restrictions are required from all candidates.
Key responsibilities
Manage and oversee all daily housekeeping operations, including room cleaning, maintenance, and management of supplies
Lead, train, mentor and supervise the housekeeping team, ensuring consistent delivery of exceptional standards




Establish and maintain rigorous cleaning protocols and quality control procedures that exceed 5-star luxury hotel standards
Conduct regular room inspections and quality audits to ensure all areas meet or exceed established benchmarks
Manage housekeeping budgets, including labour costs, supplies, and equipment procurement
Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and regulatory requirements across all housekeeping operations
Coordinate with other departments including front office, maintenance, and food and beverage to ensure seamless operations
Address and resolve guest concerns or complaints related to housekeeping services promptly and professionally
Implement and monitor inventory management systems to minimise waste and optimise resource utilisation
Develop and deliver training programmes to maintain high standards of service and professional conduct
Contribute to staff retention and workplace culture by fostering a positive, inclusive team environment
What we're looking for
Substantial experience in a supervisory or management role within 5-star luxury hotel housekeeping operations
Proven track record of successfully leading and motivating housekeeping teams to achieve high performance standards
Strong knowledge of luxury hospitality standards, guest expectations, and best practices in housekeeping management
Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Sound financial acumen and experience in budget management and cost control
Strong communication and interpersonal skills,



with the ability to work effectively across all levels of the organisation
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation
Knowledge of health, safety, environmental and workplace compliance requirements in hospitality settings
Ability to work flexibly, including early starts, late finishes, and weekends as required by hotel operations
Proficiency in hotel management systems and housekeeping software is advantageous
