Due to an internal promotion, we are seeking an experienced Workshop Supervisor to join our Perth Service Centre.
This is a genuine hands-on leadership role where you'll spend time on the workshop floor leading by example, supporting your team and ensuring the safe, productive delivery of high-quality gearbox repair and overhaul work.
About the RoleReporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of our workshop operations while maintaining a strong technical presence within the team.
Supervising and coordinating daily workshop operations.
Leading and mentoring a team of qualified tradespeople and apprentices.
Planning and allocating work to achieve customer delivery commitments.
Promoting a strong safety-first culture.
Ensuring all work meets DBS quality standards and customer expectations.
Providing technical guidance to our sales and proposals team, supporting workshop personnel and assisting with complex repairs when required.
Monitoring workshop productivity and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
Working closely with Operations, Engineering,



Sales and Proposals to deliver outstanding customer outcomes.
About youTo be successful in this role, you will have;
A Mechanical Fitter trade qualification or equivalent.
Strong technical knowledge of gearbox repairs, rotating equipment or heavy industrial equipment.
The ability to motivate and support others while leading by example.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
A proactive approach to safety, quality and continuous improvement.
A desire to develop your leadership capability and progress your career within DBS Australia.
