At Pharmacy 777 Administration, we're looking for a Payroll Team Lead to join our WA Administration team on a full-time basis and help shape a culture that supports our people, our members and our franchisees to thrive.
Located in Osborne Park, the office is accessible to public transport, is within walking distance of parks, cafes, and onsite parking is available.
About the Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will take ownership and leadership of the Payroll team to ensure accurate end-to-end payroll processing is provided for members across the 777 Group.
You'll collaborate with internal teams, pharmacy owners and external partners to deliver impactful solutions that align with business objectives and compliance requirements.
Role Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end processing of multiple fortnightly and ad-hoc payrolls.
Management of Payroll reporting, including EOM and FY reporting.
Overseeing and maintaining Payroll Service communications.
Oversee management of employee files and databases
Interpreting and applying legislative and award conditions.
Management of government PPL and Child Support cases.
Co-ordinating process and information flow primarily between payroll, human resources and finance departments.
Performing other payroll related administrative tasks and answering payroll queries.
Processing Super contributions and Payroll Tax payments in accordance with legislation.
Skills & Experience Required:
Prior Payroll experience (2+ years), encompassing payroll systems, practices, and procedures.
Service-based, high volume payroll experience desired.
Prior Payroll Team leadership/management experience (preferred)
Knowledge and understanding of Fair Work obligations and Award interpretation.
Knowledge of Accounting principles and standards.
Excellent skills using Microsoft Suite, predominantly SharePoint, Excel and Word.
Ability to establish strong client and internal relationships.
Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
