An internal promotion has created an opportunity to join the team at Field & Game Australia as our Membership Services & Administration Officer.This is a hands-on role at the heart of our national office, supporting our members, branches and broader team across membership services, administration, events and day-to-day operations.It's an ideal chance for someone starting their career or looking to build their experience in administration and customer service — particularly if you have an interest in the outdoors, conservation, hunting or shooting sports.About Field & Game AustraliaField & Game Australia is a national member-based organisation with a proud history spanning more than 65 years.Our work brings together wetland conservation, ethical hunting, clay target shooting and community, supported by a network of branches, volunteers and members across Australia.Based at the beautiful Connewarre Wetland Centre, our national office works closely with members and branches to support everything from membership services and events to conservation programs and national initiatives.About the RoleNo two days are quite the same.You might start the morning helping a new member, process renewals and update membership records, then spend the afternoon assisting with an upcoming event, supporting communications or helping the team with a national project.You'll be one of the key points of contact for our members and branches, so being approachable, organised and willing to help is important.Your core responsibilities will include:Welcoming new members and assisting existing members with enquiries and renewalsProcessing memberships and maintaining accurate member recordsResponding to phone,



email and in-person enquiriesProviding general administrative support to the national officeSupporting branches, staff, volunteers and committeesAssisting with events, bookings, communications and logisticsPreparing correspondence, meeting materials, minutes and other documentationAssisting with basic finance administrationGetting involved in broader FGA projects and initiatives as opportunities ariseWho We're Looking ForYou don't need years of experience.
We're looking for someone with the right attitude who is keen to learn and become a valued part of the team.You'll ideally be:Friendly, genuine and comfortable dealing with peopleReliable, organised and able to follow tasks throughA clear communicator with strong attention to detailComfortable using Microsoft Office and learning new systemsAble to work independently while also contributing to a small teamWilling to get involved and help where neededInterested in the outdoors and aligned with the values and activities FGA representsExperience in administration, membership services or customer service would be valuable, but it is not essential.Qualifications in business administration, conservation, environmental studies, outdoor recreation, communications or a related area are also welcome, but again, attitude, capability and willingness to learn are more important to us.Why Join FGA?
