Y Victoria is currently seeking Casual Educators for our Before and After School Care and School Holiday Programs within Macleod.
This is a casual position, with working hours varying from Monday to Friday, school holidays shifts vary across 6:30am - 6:30pm.The hourly rate for the position is between $***** p/hour onwards (depending on your qualification & experience) + ECEC retention payment + super.As an Outside of School Hours Care (OSHC) Educator you will be dedicated to empowering young children and have a passion for providing engaging experiences.
Supported by the OSHC team and an experienced Coordinator, you will enhance positive relationships with children, families and the school community while facilitating our School Holiday programs.What's in it for me?

You'll need to have either completed or be working towards an ACECQA-approved qualification (see the link below) – or willing to enrol in a courseYou'll need to have, or be willing to obtain a First Aid in an Education & Care Setting certificate (or equivalent)You'll need to have, or be willing to obtain a valid Victorian Working with Children's Check – employee checkCommitment to Child and Young People SafetyYMCA Victoria (the Y) has robust policies and practices to prevent harm to children and young people.
