About the RoleOur government partner is seeking experienced Senior Microsoft Power Platform Engineers to design, develop and support enterprise-grade Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics 365 solutions within a secure government environment.Working within a multidisciplinary delivery team, you will develop modern low-code business applications, automate complex business processes, implement governance and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), and deliver high-quality analytics and reporting solutions.
This role also includes mentoring technical staff and contributing to long-term platform capability across the organisation.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop Canvas and Model-Driven Power Apps.Develop Power Automate cloud and desktop (RPA) workflows.Design and maintain Microsoft Dataverse data models.Configure Dataverse security, business units and ownership models.Develop custom connectors and integrate enterprise systems.Build Power BI semantic models, dashboards and paginated reports.Configure and administer Power BI workspaces, deployment pipelines and dataflows.Configure and customise Dynamics 365 environments.Integrate Dynamics 365 with Microsoft Graph API and Azure Integration Services.Design and implement Power Platform Application Lifecycle Management (ALM).




Develop CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.Administer the Microsoft Power Platform Centre of Excellence (CoE).
Implement governance, security and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies.Ensure compliance with ISM controls and Essential Eight requirements.Produce technical documentation and knowledge transfer material.Mentor developers and provide technical leadership across the delivery team.Engage with business and executive stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable digital solutions.
Essential CriteriaApplicants should demonstrate experience in:Five or more years' hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven), Power Automate, Power BI and Power Pages.Experience designing and delivering solutions within Microsoft Landing Zone environments.Strong Microsoft Dataverse experience including:Data modellingSecurity rolesBusiness rulesPlug-insCustom connectorsSolution managementDynamics 365 configuration and customisation experience within Customer Service, Field Service or equivalent modules.Advanced Power BI development including:DAXSemantic modellingRow-Level SecurityDeployment pipelinesDataflowsPower Platform Application Lifecycle Management (ALM).
CI/CD implementation using Azure DevOps.Experience working within government or highly regulated environments.Knowledge of the Australian Government Information Security Manual (ISM) and Essential Eight.
Desirable SkillsHighly regarded experience includes:Microsoft Power Platform certifications (PL-200, PL-300, PL-400 or PL-600).
Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications (MB-210, MB-240 or equivalent).
Microsoft Copilot Studio development.Azure Logic Apps.Azure Functions.Azure Service Bus.Microsoft Graph API integrations.Experience implementing enterprise governance frameworks for Power Platform.
