A Project Engineer is required for a major Defence aviation project based in Nowra, NSW.
This is a long-term opportunity working on a specialist facility connected to helicopter training operations.
The project will suit a Project Engineer with strong building delivery experience, ideally gained with a Tier 1 or established Tier 2 contractor.
Particularly for Fit out packages.
You will support the site and project team across procurement, RFIs, QA, subcontractor coordination, design coordination, reporting and delivery tracking.
The role requires someone organised, technically capable and comfortable working in a structured project environment.
The Role You Will Be Responsible For
Coordinating subcontractors and site activitiesManaging RFIs, technical queries and project documentationSupporting procurement and package managementReviewing drawings, specifications and scopesManaging QA, ITPs, defects and compliance recordsWorking closely with the Project Manager and Site ManagerSupporting programme, cost and reporting requirementsHelping deliver works safely,



accurately and to programme
About You Will Ideally Have
Previous experience as a Project Engineer or strong Site EngineerTier 1 builder experience preferredFit out experience essential.
Defence, aviation, secure facility or government project experience highly regardedStrong QA, RFIs, procurement and subcontractor coordination experienceGood communication skills and attention to detailAbility to work in Nowra for the duration of the projectConstruction Management, Engineering or related qualification
