Job DescriptionTrodan Produce (WA) Pty Ltd About the Role We are seeking a full-time Machine Operator to join our food production team in the South West of Western Australia.
In this role, you will operate and monitor automated production equipment, conduct routine inspections, assist with equipment troubleshooting, and support protected, productive and reliable production within our food manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities Operate, monitor and control automated food production machinery in accordance with established operating procedures.
Start up, adjust, monitor and safely shut down production equipment and processing systems.
Conduct routine inspections and operational checks to maintain equipment reliability and production efficiency.
Identify, troubleshoot and report mechanical or operational issues affecting production performance.
Perform minor mechanical adjustments and assist with equipment setup and changeovers.
Work closely with maintenance personnel to resolve equipment faults and minimise production downtime.
Monitor production processes, complete routine inspections and maintain accurate production and operational records.
Report equipment, quality and safety issues promptly and contribute to continuous process improvement.
Maintain high standards of workplace safety, hygiene and food safety at all times.
Assist maintenance and production teams with operational support as required.
Skills and Experience




The successful applicant will demonstrate: Experience operating machinery within a manufacturing, food processing or production environment.
Sound mechanical aptitude with the ability to identify and report equipment issues.
Ability to follow standard operating procedures and work safely in a production workplace.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and food safety.
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
Ability to maintain accurate production records and complete routine operational checks.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
