With a strong focus on safety, compliance, efficiency and customer service, we are expanding our Operations team and seeking a motivated and detail-driven Transport Scheduler to support our growing fleet.
The Role-Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Transport Scheduler is responsible for planning, coordinating and monitoring daily transport activities to ensure safe, compliant and on-time delivery outcomes.
This is a fast-paced role suited to someone who thrives under pressure, can think ahead and communicates effectively with drivers, customers and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and schedule daily transport movements across local, regional and interstate operations
Coordinate loading and unloading requirements with customers and site contacts
Dispatch drivers and monitor trip progress in real time




Manage schedule changes due to delays, breakdowns or customer requirements
Ensure compliance with NHVAS Mass and Fatigue requirements
Maintain accurate load, fleet and driver records
Communicate proactively with customers regarding ETAs and service updates
Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks
Support continuous improvement in fleet utilisation and efficiency
Skills & Experience
Proven experience in transport scheduling or fleet coordination
Strong understanding of heavy vehicle operations
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and organisational ability
Ability to work in a rapid-moving operations environment
