Details: The Climate Change, Energy, Water and Waste Division (the Division) is seeking an Assistant Director on the Healthy Waterways Program.
The Division plays a central role in ensuring the ACT remains a national and global leader in climate action and sustainable resource management.
We develop and deliver policies and programs that reduce energy and water use, support renewable energy, promote sustainable transport, reduce and better manage waste, improve access to climate information, and strengthen resilience to a changing climate.
Our work spans government, schools, businesses, community organisations and households—helping shape Canberra's growth as a dynamic, sustainable and prosperous city.
This is an prospect to contribute to the work of the Healthy Waterways program, including procurement and contract management for a range of capital works and research contracts.

Eligibility/Other Requirements:




A degree or diploma from an Australian tertiary institution (or a comparable overseas qualification) in a relevant discipline, or demonstrated equivalent experience, appropriate to the duties of the position is highly desirable.
Note: A merit list will be created from this recruitment process and may be used to fill both temporary and permanent Assistant Director positions across the Division over the next twelve months.
