Our ideal candidates
We're looking for high-performing people with skills and experience relevant to the department's enabling services operations.
You will be highly organised and able to work with limited direction.
Our ideal APS Level 4 candidates will:
be confident providing sound advice and information on corporate programs, activities, and services
prioritise and manage tasks, monitoring workflow,



and communicating issues that may impact on the work area
demonstrate functional expertise in the area of capability and a valuable understanding of applicable legislation and policy frameworks relevant to the role
communicate ideas and identify opportunities to improve the efficiency of business processes.
participate in strategic planning and decision making within the work area
work under general direction and exercise judgement with respect to how procedures and guidelines are interpreted and applied
be a confident communicator, both verbally and in writing
demonstrate an ability to actively build and maintain effective internal and external stakeholder relationships.
Our ideal APS Level 5 candidates will:
demonstrate an ability to develop and maintain internal and external relationships and respond to stakeholder needs and expectations
have a well-developed understanding of applicable legislation and policy frameworks relevant to the role, and an ability to provide advice and make decisions based on sound subject matter knowledge
have a demonstrated ability to work under limited guidance, identify problems or issues and resolve them or raise with management
be capable of exercising judgement, making independent decisions and being accountable for outcomes
be willing to guide and support less experienced staff to achieve goals by providing guidance and quality assurance
be a confident communicator with well-developed written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to target communications to diverse audiences.
